Information is all around us just waiting to be discovered and utilized. And the more knowledge you have, the more you can put this information to work. It is like air. We are surrounded by it. Most of the time, we don’t give it a second thought.
Orville Wright and his brother Wilber thought a lot about air. They were kite makers and they knew that if air moved with enough speed, it could make a kite fly. Pretty soon they were making huge kites, large enough for a person to ride in. They called them gliders and were amazed to learn that air, under the right circumstances, could lift hundreds of pounds. The Wright Brothers continued to experiment with flying until they had invented the airplane.
Think about it, the air was always there, they just had to learn enough about it to be able to harness that power and, in the process, created a new industry that would change the world. Of their discoveries, Orville Wright said, “Isn’t it astonishing that all these secrets have been preserved for so many years just so we could discover them!”
You and I are surrounded by information just waiting to be discovered. The more you learn and study and observe, the more you will be able to harness this knowledge and use it for your benefit.
Success Tip: Never pass up an opportunity to learn something new. Get all of the knowledge and education that you can, for knowledge is power.
