I saw a bumper sticker on an old car the other day. It said, “I go where I’m towed.” What a sad commentary about that car, and perhaps its owner, too. Cars aren’t meant to be towed, they’re meant to be driven. Likewise, you were not meant to be simply pulled along down the stream of life, tossed this way and that by the popular current.
You are in the driver’s seat of your life. You get to choose which path you will take, how fast you’ll go, and how much energy you will use in pursuing your goals. Don’t be content to just move along with the flow of traffic. Take the steering wheel! Choose your destination and start heading in that direction.
Yes, you will deal with bumpy roads and detours along the way. Everyone does. But, if you keep your destination firmly in mind, you will successfully navigate the difficult sections and ultimately reach your destination.
Success Tip: Don’t just go where you’re towed. Be a driver!

Thanks for the reminder! Drivers get where they want to go, while everyone else has to settle for arriving with the crowd.
